Activities following the church year are provided each week for our younger members, within the church. The results of their work are shared on our dedicated display board in the church. We have also recommenced our Babies and Toddlers group, which meets each Monday morning barring Bank Holidays. See below for more details about these groups.
PLEASE NOTE:
From September 2025 the weekly Sunday services at Raleigh Road United Church will commence at 11.00am.
However: Remembrance Sunday on November 9th will commence at 10.50
We celebrate Holy Communion once a month. Join us for tea and coffee after the service each week, served at the back of the church
The services will be recorded should you prefer to join us from a distance.
Either way, you are very welcome!
Junior Church

We have a small number of younger members who are provided each week with age-related activities following the church year. Older members of our Junior Church are provided and supported online with many fun activities, such as crafts, art, games, competitions, websites, videos, and food-based themes to enhance their understanding of the Bible and maintain their link with the church family and with each other.
Members of our junior church contribute greatly towards a number of our special services. Well done to them all!
Brownies, Guides & Rangers
Girlguiding in Kew
Girlguiding want all girls across the UK to have the space and opportunities they need to thrive, grow and give back to their communities
Nearly 100 girls already meet regularly as Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14) and Rangers (14-18) in the Kew area. And we have a Brownie, Guide and linked Ranger group at Raleigh Road – with plans for a Rainbow group in the future.
Guiding is so much more than an after school activity – we help girls develop life skills, meet new friends, have lots of fun adventures, build resilience, make a positive difference and grow in confidence. Our groups wouldn’t happen without our fantastic volunteers. No matter your experience, your background or how much time you have spare you can help with anything from sharing a skill to running an event; admin support or running a group. Babies and Toddlers
Parents and Carers
Parent and Baby/Toddler group is held every Monday , 9.30 – 11.30 am.
Please Note: There is no Babies and Toddlers on Bank Holiday Mondays
This is why we started:
“We all want more choice of somewhere to take our little ones and a chance to meet other mums, so we thought we would set up this group every Monday morning. Come along and meet other mums and babies/toddlers. Enjoy a calm setting where your child can play whilst you relax with a coffee! Bliss!!!”
Youth Group

We have met periodically with the Circuit young people and their friends age 10+ where we learnt about the word of God, played, organised fundraising events and took part in national Christian meetings. We hope to resume these activities in the future.
You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
