We are pleased to announce that Raleigh Road United Church is open for services each Sunday at 10.30am! We are now celebrating communion once a month. Join us for tea and coffee after the service each week, served at the back of the church
Please only attend if you are not self isolating or showing symptoms of Covid 19 and maintain social distancing of at least 2 metres.
The wearing of a face mask during the service is now an individual choice, except for services attracting a larger congregation.
Junior Church and the Young People are beginning to meet periodically. We will update the What’s On page as soon as possible.
We have a small, but active all-age Junior Church group. We meet in a hall during the Sunday morning service, and then re-join the congregation towards the end of the service to share the learning from our time together. We work to develop our faith in new and creative ways, through Bible study, fellowship and discussion. We support this with many fun activities, such as crafts, art, games, competitions, websites, videos, and food-based themes.
Brownies, Guides & Rangers
Girlguiding in Kew
Girlguiding want all girls across the UK to have the space and opportunities they need to thrive, grow and give back to their communities
Nearly 100 girls already meet regularly as Rainbows (aged 5-7), Brownies (aged 7-10), Guides (aged 10-14) and Rangers (14-18) in the Kew area. And we have a Brownie, Guide and linked Ranger group at Raleigh Road – with plans for a Rainbow group in the future.
Guiding is so much more than an after school activity – we help girls develop life skills, meet new friends, have lots of fun adventures, build resilience, make a positive difference and grow in confidence. Our groups wouldn’t happen without our fantastic volunteers. No matter your experience, your background or how much time you have spare you can help with anything from sharing a skill to running an event; admin support or running a group. Babies and Toddlers
Parents and Carers
Parent and Baby/Toddler group runs every Monday including school holidays 9.30-11.30am. (This excludes Easter Monday and a two week break in August.)
We all want more choice of somewhere to take our little ones and a chance to meet other mums, so we thought we would set up this group every Monday morning. Come along and meet other mums and babies/toddlers. Enjoy a calm setting where your child can play whilst you relax with a coffee! Bliss!!!
There is a nominal charge of £2 per family for refreshments
We have a monthly meeting with the Circuit young people and their friends age 10+ where we learn about the word of God, we play, we have sleepovers, we organise fundraising events and we plan to take part in national Christian meetings.
You who are young, be happy while you are young, and let your heart give you joy in the days of your youth.
